Nacro have a brand new contact starting in Lincolnshire, this contract has created a broad range of new and exciting positions, it couldn't be a better opportunity to come and join us!

Who are we?
We are a national social justice charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. Last year alone we helped support, house, educate, advise and speak out for 38,000 disadvantaged young people and adults - and you could now help us make an even bigger impact going forward.

The new Youth Housing service in Lincolnshire supports 16-17 year olds and care leavers including Young Parents up to 21 years who are homeless or are threatened with homelessness, to live independently. Our aim is to inspire the young people we accommodate to be ambitious and embrace new opportunities. Through devising a person centred support package we enable the young people we work with to have new experiences and develop skills to become independent in order to make a positive contribution to society. We offer transparent and positive environments that foster inclusive working cultures and encourage creativity and an engaging mind-set. We offer employment within an established team that employs a non-judgemental approach, sensitivity and understanding.

Who we are looking for?
We are searching for creative, vibrant, innovative and highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to make a difference to the lives of young people in an exciting but challenging environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills mixed with a good understanding of issues young people face.

The role will involve planning and delivering support to a group of young people with complex needs that has a direct impact on the lives of each young person. Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Offering advice, guidance and practical support to young people to help them work towards their goals in life.
* Offering advice with regards to having their own accommodation, training, education, employment or being a good parent.
* Responding to young people's needs and offering holistic support.

At least one year's professional experience of working with Young People OR At least three years experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting.

At Nacro we believe in Young People. The purpose of these services are to transform the lives of Lincolnshire's most vulnerable young people and our vision is to ensure every young person in our services are given the support they need to have a chance at a brighter future.
