Job description

National AIDS Trust is the UK's HIV rights charity. We work to stop HIV from standing in the way of health, dignity and equality, and to end new HIV transmissions. Our expertise, research and advocacy secure lasting change to the lives of people living with and at risk of HIV.

We're looking for someone who can lead our media relations, promoting campaigns, raising our profile and ensuring the voices of people living with HIV are heard. You'll build trusted relationships with journalists, develop our PR and marketing and line manage the Senior Digital Communications Officer.

You'll have excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape, good news sense and you'll know what makes a good story. You'll have great interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with people of all backgrounds. You'll have a strong understanding of digital and the interface between all types of media. You'll be a sensitive and capable manager, have excellent communication skills and be passionate about campaigning for the rights of all people living with HIV.
