Job description
  • Are you looking to take the next steps in your policy career?

National AIDS Trust is the UK’s HIV rights charity. We work to stop HIV from standing in the way of health, dignity and equality, and to end new HIV transmissions. Our expertise, research and advocacy secure lasting change to the lives of people living with and at risk of HIV.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic policy and campaigns team and to work with a range of senior stakeholders in the HIV sector to help shape the policy agenda around HIV quality of life issues. You will be directly supporting the UK-wide HIV Outcomes Group to identify policy priorities and conduct new policy research into these areas of focus.

You’ll be flexible and self-motivated with good communication skills. You’ll have strong experience of developing policy recommendations and influencing decisions, a commitment to human rights and a good understanding of the policy process in the UK.

You’ll also be confident to lead projects, including managing external stakeholders, and be comfortable juggling a varied and demanding workload. A team player, you will engage with a wide range of policy issues.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including 27 days leave per year plus Bank Holidays, annual salary increments, 6% employer pension contribution, flexible working, a hybrid working arrangement of home and eco-conscious office space in Bethnal Green, interest-free travel loan and cycle to work scheme, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, and a supportive team environment.
