We are NASS, the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society. We are here to transform the diagnosis and care of people living with axial spondyloarthritis, so everyone can live well with it.
Axial SpA is an inflammatory condition of the spine and joints. It works silently, leaving people in increasing pain and feeling exhausted. In the UK, more people live with axial SpA than MS and Parkinson’s combined, and it affects young people, with symptoms often starting in mid-teens to early 20s.
We are seeking an outstanding Programme Manager to join our team who are leading a ground-breaking campaign to reduce the time to diagnosis in axial spondyloarthritis called Act on Axial SpA.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing some initiatives within the programme and working alongside colleagues who are leading others. You will be responsible for ensuring close integration across all of the initiatives within the programmes and for collating and analysing impact data across them. You will work with a Project Board to manage programme design, delivery and review and hold regular meetings with the programme funder. You will commission and manage technical providers, manage programme logistics, and provide reports to sponsors. The post will involve some UK travel and networking.
Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in a comparable role in the charity sector or the NHS, including excellent project management skills and outstanding communication skills. They will be confident working in a collaborative way with colleagues, steering groups, sponsors, clinicians and patients, and have a strong understanding of and commitment to healthcare improvement.
Please submit your CV together with two-page cover letter explaining your interest in the role and how you meet the person specification. Deadline for applications is 10 am on 7th February. Interviews will be held by videoconference on 18th February. For further information, and to submit your application, contact NASS CEO Dr. Dale Web
We have attractive terms and conditions including a generous employer pension scheme, Time Off in Lieu, an employee assistance programme, financial support for sight tests and spectacle and a death in service scheme.
Thank you for your interest in NASS!
