Position Title: Principal Social Care Officer
Location: Mentmore Terrace
Status: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: £47,445 per annum

For over 50 years the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) has been building a better childhood for all.

As a senior member of the social care team you will lead the ongoing development of our national social care reference group, operational delivery of current projects related to SEND and social care including our work on the SEND reforms as well as a range of projects related to wider social care policy and practice.

The role requires expert knowledge of the SEND and social care system alongside strong project management and budget monitoring skills, experience of managing staff/associates and excellent networking, communication, facilitation and training skills.

You will have the opportunity to convene, lead and provide support to networks hosted by the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) and the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) and work with colleagues and partners to influence social care policy and practice.
