Part time, 21 hours a week (flexibly arranged)
Are you an experienced executive assistant or governance officer who is looking for a challenging and rewarding new role? Are you inspired by church architecture? Your knowledge and organisational skills could help support historic buildings to be well maintained and sustainable.
The National Churches Trust is the independent, UK-wide charity supporting churches, chapels and meeting houses of all Christian denominations. We want to see churches open and sustainable for now, and the future. We help sustain church buildings through advice, support & training, and campaign to demonstrate their value and importance to their communities and the nation.
An opportunity has arisen for an organised and self-motivated Executive Assistant to provide extensive and varied support to our Chief Executive and wider team. Key responsibilities will include diary coordination, minute taking at various meetings, office management; and ensuring we manage data effectively and in compliance with current Data Protection and other regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and prioritisation skills, time management and strong attention to detail are essential. You will also act as Clerk to the Board of Trustees, so a diplomatic approach and style is essential.
You will have good intellectual and analytical skills, the ability to manage a varied and challenging workload and the chance to help ensure the smooth running of the office.
Applications are welcome from returners to work or those who would benefit from a more flexible approach.
