Transforming lives for over 50 years, the National Youth Agency (NYA) is the national body for youth work in England. 

We believe that all young people should have the confidence and skills they need to live, learn, work and achieve. Youth workers help to unlock a young person’s potential, giving them safe spaces to explore their identity, experience decision-making and develop key skills.

We want young people to get access to the youth workers they need, so we seek to secure youth work through policy and advocacy and support youth workers to perform at their best.

We’re looking for an Administrator to join us at this exciting point in our development and support the smooth running of our organisation.

The Role 

As an Administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective admin support service to our organisation. 

Reporting to the Executive Assistant, you will: 

- Make meeting, events and travel arrangements 
- Respond to telephone queries 
- Prepare reports, documents and presentations for internal and external use 
- Maintain records and provide information for meetings 

About You

To join us as an Administrator, you’ll need: 

- Experience of working in a team and providing support to a range of staff 
- Previous experience of organising meetings and events and ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place
- Excellent telephone skills and a professional, courteous and helpful manner
- A highly organised approach 
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent)

Ideally, you will have an interest in young people's personal development and participation. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram would also be beneficial, as would the flexibility to work weekends and evenings if required.
