National Youth Agency (NYA) are looking for a Deputy Director of Youth Work to work across the organisation, with key partners and across the youth work sector to support implementation of the national Youth Work Strategy and Workforce Development Strategy.
We are seeking an exceptional individual with proven leadership skills, with a record of driving and delivering impactful change. Creative, innovative and visionary, Our Deputy Director of Youth Work will be an outstanding youth work expert, providing advanced knowledge and systems thinking leadership. The successful candidate will have high levels of emotional intelligence, a naturally collaborative approach, and deep insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by the youth work sector.
NYA holds a unique position within the youth sector. We are bot the national body and the Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB) for youth work in England. We are the cornerstone of a great profession and we have been transforming lives through youth work for over 50 years. We strive every day to champion, professionalise and enable great youth work, driving up the quality and quantity of safe and impactful practice.
