The National Youth Agency (NYA) is at a very exciting point in its development and this new role plays an important part in supporting our policy research and public affairs. It will involve liaising with internal colleagues and external organisations, government, parliament and media.
Joining a lively and committed team, you will be a positive self-starter and bring previous experience of public policy or a political and media role. NYA is a central cog in the youth sector and as such this is an interesting and busy role. You will need strong organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confidence with managing multiple tasks and priorities.
NYA holds a unique position within the youth sector. We are the national body for youth work, and the Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB) for youth work in England. We are the cornerstone of a great profession and we have been transforming lives through youth work for over 50 years. We strive every day to champion, professionalise and enable great youth work, driving up the quality and quantity of safe and impactful practice.
