Are you a charity fundraiser ready for a new challenge offering autonomy and a chance to really influence senior management?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a fundraiser ready to step up and take on line management responsibility whilst maintaining full control of income generation activity!
About the charity
Natural Breaks have been supporting people with disabilities across the North West since 1991. The charity provides bespoke support in homes, in work, in education, with leisure or social activities and during the difficult transition from children to adult services.
As well as directly supporting individuals to lead a fulfilling and independent life, the charity also provides much-needed respite to their families. Natural Breaks now support over 100 people and their families and has historically been funded by local authorities.
About the role of Fundraising Officer
Natural Breaks gained charitable status in 2016 and as part of the next phase of their development and recently approved fundraising strategy, now offer this opportunity to lead on fundraising activity at the charity. An experienced charity fundraiser will be the next addition to the team to drive new revenue streams to secure existing services and allow for an expansion of services for families in the North West. This really is a varied role and offers the opportunity to drive revenue in Trusts and Foundations, Community, Individual Giving and Corporate fundraising.
As this is a brand-new position in the team, the successful candidate will be given the autonomy to deliver on the fundraising strategy, whilst also encouraged to influence senior leadership. The role also comes with line management responsibility and a chance to grow the team further upon success.
The charity prides itself on its positive working environment and excellent track record of staff development and retention. Natural Breaks want their staff to be the best that they can be, to deliver the best possible support. They truly believe leading an ordinary life can be extraordinary.
You may be an experienced generalist ready to embrace an opportunity to work for a progressive and well-managed charity, or perhaps you are a specialist fundraiser seeking an opportunity to expand your knowledge in a supportive environment. Wherever you have developed your charity fundraising experience, we are keen to speak to you about this unique opportunity!
