NAZ is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to take up the role of Sexual Health Community Engagement Coordinator, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities. They will develop and deliver a culturally competent sexual health promotion and STI/HIV prevention service for BAME communities within the London boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
Health promotion activities will include Rapid HIV Testing, providing brief information, advice and support to people about sexual health and wellbeing, identifying risky behaviours and referring people appropriately into sexual health services. This will take place in a variety of community settings including community groups, churches, and shopping centres accessible to target populations.
The role is normally based in Turning Point’s Office, London, W1D 6PN with visits to NAZ’s office in Hammersmith, London and to other London locations; though is working from home at present.
Due to our delivery of engagement to BAME service users, this post is only open to people with BAME ethnicity or multiple heritage including this ethnicity.
