In this role you will provide administrative support to the Policy and Research teams which sit within NCVO’s Public Policy & Volunteering department.
Working as part of a collaborative and innovative organisation with a reputation for authoritative and robust policy and research outputs, you will bring a passion for the voluntary sector and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a highly reactive and past-paced environment.
Acting as first point of contact for general requests about the team’s work – both internal and external - you will demonstrate attention to detail and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have experience in developing and maintaining efficient office administration systems - including first-rate finance record keeping skills - with an ability to multi-task, manage competing deadlines and work and act on your own initiative.
And as a proactive team player, you will be experienced in building effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including the organising of meetings and the delivery events.
