Able to get stuck in to projects from media relations to corporate communications and internal communications, you’ll likely have a background in public relations, but it won’t be all you want to do in your next role.
You’ll support staff with media work, find opportunities to highlight our messages, and also develop relationships with our members to help showcase their work. You’ll also help us create content for our own channels, such as email and social media.
You’ll be part of the communications team at NCVO, which is responsible for media and internal communications, as well as parliamentary and stakeholder relations, and you’ll work closely with colleagues in our digital and marketing teams. Coordinating our communications to make sure our messages are heard by the right audiences at the right time will be an important aspect of your job.
We’re looking for someone with the judgement to help us frame our issues in the right way and the writing ability to help us explain our work clearly. We’re looking for someone with excellent news sense and political judgement, and who has the initiative to spot issues and deal with them sensitively and effectively.
