Job description

You will work within the Support and services team providing high-quality training, capacity-building and consultancy.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Good knowledge of evaluation methods and/or social research methods
  • Good knowledge of consultancy and training methods and approaches. 
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and facilitation skills ensuring effective working relationships with people at all levels.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent skills in facilitation and presentation, to engage a range of audiences.
  • Competence in project management software such as Dynamics 365 and/or PowerBI
  • Competence in analysis software such as MAXQDI, SPSS and/or Excel
  • Ability to summarise and present findings in a variety of formats including traditional report, data visualisation and/or dashboard. 
  • Successful track record of income generating consultancy services including marketing products and services and assessing organisational needs.
  • Successful track record of delivering consultancy to organisations to support their self-evaluation.
  • A significant role in the delivery of high-quality, mixed-method, external evaluations or research in the UK VCS.
  • Designing and delivering training.
  • Project management – developing and delivering clear targets and working with colleagues to achieve outcomes.
