Are you an experienced, diligent and organised individual with a proven track record of operating at a senior EA or PA level? Then join Nesta as Executive Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our busy Director of the Creative Industries Policy & Evidence Centre (PEC).

Our consortium connects leading thinkers, across multiple academic disciplines, with expertise that spans the breadth of challenges facing the UK’s creative industries, and leverages long-standing relationships with government and industry.  The Centre has the ambitious objective to use academic research to address the biggest policy challenges facing the UK’s creative industries.

About this exciting opportunity you

The Director has lots of demands on their time and you will play a vital role in prioritising and scheduling a busy diary, arranging travel in the UK and internationally, supporting the wider team in organising events and meetings and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for

With a successful track record of operating at a senior Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant level in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, you will have extensive experience of email and calendar systems, proactive diary management and administering events. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and capable of calmly managing multiple priorities to deadline with a systematic approach. As an excellent communicator, you will be comfortable representing the Director with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at senior level, exercising good judgement and discretion.
