Our client is recruiting for experienced Auxiliary Bank Support Assistants to work flexibly across their Supported Housing & Care services for adults with learning and physical disabilities and/or mental health needs. The main purpose of these roles is to provide essential support to their busy frontline teams of Support Assistants and Qualified Nurses.
They have available positions across the following locations:
Billericay/Basildon/Pitsea, Benfleet, Canvey Island, Leigh-on-Sea, Maldon, Rochford, Shoeburyness, Southend-on-Sea, South Ockendon and Wickford
Specifically, you’ll be undertaking non-care related duties which include:
Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with service users and other key stakeholders
The type of candidate they're looking for:
Demonstrable commitment and passion for working with people
An interest and/ or previous experience of working in the social care sector
Basic understanding of the needs and rights of people with disabilities
Basic knowledge of the regulations that govern their services
Excellent literacy and communication skills
The ability to work effectively both alone and as part of a team.
