Location: Braintree, Essex 

Salary: £28,146 per annum

Our client is looking for a communications professional who is ready to step up to the next stage of their career. You will help support the day-to-day running of their social media, websites and email marketing channels.

About our client

Newly formed, our client is a non-profit social housing provider with 12,000 homes in Essex and Suffolk.

 

They are the largest Community Gateway organisation in England. Their customers are at the heart of engagement. They are committed to communities. 

 

Our client was formed in July 2020 following the merger of two Housing Associations. Their combined strengths created a vibrant, innovative organisation. They aim to play a key role in recovery through the pandemic and helping to fix the housing crisis in the East of England. 

 

You will be part of a small Communications Team with a big voice which consistently punches above its weight. There is certainly always a lot to shout about!

 

Our client’s offices are in Braintree and Colchester in Essex. You will work remotely to begin with and they truly embrace agile working. Geography is never a barrier to having the best person in post.

 

About you

Reporting to the Head of Communications and External Affairs, you’ll have demonstrable experience of using social media in a professional capacity and managing website content.

You’ll be a values-driven person who believes in the power of digital communications to make a positive difference to people. 

You’ll ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent, however candidates with suitable experience would be considered. 

You will love creating engaging digital content including videos, graphic and events. You will understand how to reach a diverse range of customers and build online conversations and communities.

You will have a passion for the work that you do, ensuring your work gets great results and utilises the latest technology and innovation.
