£37,000 to £39,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an outstanding and dynamic Head of Engagement to help them develop and deliver their strategic ambitions.
With a high level of commitment to nature conservation and demonstrable belief in the Trust’s values and objectives could this be the role for you?
In this role you will:
Lead a professional and committed team to create exciting engagement and learning experiences for all that inspire communities and visitors to understand, value and save wildlife.
Create inspiring, interactive and engaging programmes and projects for communities, schools, families and adults across nature reserves and in the wider environment of urban and rural Norfolk.
Motivate, guide and support local communities groups to take action to protect and conserve their local wildlife and wild places.
Further work with volunteers, ensuring their strategic support and continued commitment to the work of the Trust.
Significantly expand our engagement programmes and activities by identifying the resources and structure required.
What they’re looking for:
A passion for developing learning and community action across a variety of audiences.
Demonstrable experience of leading formal and informal learning programmes and wider-community conservation projects.
Great people management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse, operational, team whilst ensuring they are empowered to do the best in their roles and develop professionally.
Someone who is commercially astute and collaborative by nature.
A strong strategic thinker to bring a creative approach across the breadth of the Trust’s engagement activity.
Ideally you would be educated to degree level and experienced in the field, and bring experience of successfully managing change and positive cross-function working.
