About the role

An exciting new opportunity is available to join our client’s Communities and Neighbourhoods Team; and play a crucial role in developing the delivery module for the future of the business. Consistently improving the service provided to their customers is hugely important to them, and this role will be the first point of contact into the Communities & Neighbourhoods Team where queries are not fully resolved by the Contact Centre or other teams.

It will involve scheduling and planning in person and digital conversations with customers and other agencies regarding all case management appointments.  The Case Management Coordinator will be the key contact and lead for Customers and Neighbourhood and Specialist Case Officers in relation to the management of tenancy breaches.

They want somebody who has:

Excellent customer service skills, is calm and resilient with the ability to manage customer’s expectations. You will be able to work effectively with other teams, and alongside team members to ensure that queries are resolved to a high standard. You will need first class organisational skills, including the ability to schedule and allocate work to the team, meet deadlines and quickly re-prioritise in a reactive environment.

Who they are

Our client owns and manages 45,000 homes across the Midlands, with a portfolio that includes social and affordable rent and shared ownership houses. The group has G1 governance and V1 financial viability ratings from the Regulator of Social Housing and was the second largest housing association builder completing 1,598 new homes in 2018/19. They are committed to making a real and positive difference to the lives of local customers and the communities they live in.

Working with them is more than just a job. They value the contribution that their colleagues make to their business and offer lots of opportunities for you to get involved - from networking groups through to fun community and social events.

They aim to attract, develop and retain the best people so, along with your generous salary they also offer a great range of benefits.

The Group is committed to their employees working flexibly where they can and they are keen to attract talent from diverse backgrounds.  If you are interested in this role but would like to explore a different way of working to the standard Monday to Friday, 9-5 approach, then please highlight this on your application or discuss it with them at the interview stage.  After all, they want to attract the best people to work for them and they know that one size does not fit all.

The Group are currently reviewing all terms and conditions of employment and harmonising salary structures, therefore these may be subject to change. Please note should this become a permanent role it will not be re advertised.

If this sounds like the place for you then they’d love to hear from you.

If they receive a high number of applications, this vacancy may expire prior to the closing date. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.

Our client is committed to building a healthy, vibrant and inclusive organisation that treats people with respect and creates opportunities for all.
