Sheltered Housing Coordinator (Older People)

Location: Trowbridge

Salary:  £23,000 p.a

Contract: Permanent

Full time: 37 hours per week

Trowbridge and surrounding areas, travel required

The role


The purpose of this role is to be part of a team providing a housing landlord service to our sheltered customers


It has the following main responsibilities;


  • Ensure the sheltered schemes are well managed across a range of housing management functions, working with other teams across the company

  • Providing effective customer service to sheltered customers

  • Work with sheltered customers to ensure that fire safety risks are minimised

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience;


  • Understanding of landlord responsibilities

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a changing environment

  • Ability to problem solve and be accountable

  • A natural empathy with older people

  • Experience of services for older people

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience of engaging with customers

  • Access to a car for work


An enhanced DBS will be required for this role
