We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic qualified and experienced Refugee Youth Wellbeing Manager to join our friendly and busy team and take responsibility for the delivery of our youth activities including youth counselling service, supporting young refugees and asylum seekers with mental health issues.
We wish to appoint someone who is highly experienced within the field of emotional & mental health delivery & management and is looking for an exciting challenge.
The post holder will be responsible to run and develop our existing or new youth projects while ensuring young refugees and asylum seekers, especially those suffering from mental health problems, have access to a wide range of services and activities. You will have substantial experience of managing, developing and evaluating effective and innovative services for vulnerable young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will also hold a qualification to the degree level in youth work, mental health intervention or any other relevant area and have an in-depth knowledge of refugee’s mental health issues.
You will have IT skills and knowledge of databases, an ability to work under pressure and an interest in issues affecting asylum seekers and refugees. You will need flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Clsoing Date 17th October 2021 interview date 21 October 2021.
