About us and the role

The Renewal Programme is a local Newham based charity that is passionate about investing in our community and supporting people to rise through dignity, inspiration, and empowerment. We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of charity digital communications and marketing, who also brings an appetite for creativity and enthusiasm for developing and implementing strategies to grow our impact. You will lead on all the charity’s digital communications and marketing activities, in order to grow and deepen our digital and social media presence and engagement, and position the charity to increase fundraising capacity and online donations. In a nutshell your role will be to help us reach more people, raise more funds, and build stronger relationships with our various audiences.

Our ideal candidate for this role will be an individual with a passion for digital content and a good understanding and experience of how digital technologies can be used to transform charity impact and engagement. We are seeking someone who is ambitious and can be our champion for digital transformation. You will also have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work in order to be able to support the needs of a relatively small local charity working to recover from the effects of covid-19.

You will need to demonstrate that you are professional, organised, efficient and able to manage your own time and workload to meet project targets. We can offer you a friendly team of experienced coordinators to work with and the support of a dynamic leadership team.

This role is 25 hours per week and for an initial fixed term period of 12 months. Please see the full job description and person specification attached and do note an enhanced DBS check will be required.
