Fundraising Manager 

Are you a passionate and experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing significant grants and tenders? Do you excel at building relationships and creating compelling proposals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference!

About Us

The Renewal Programme is a dynamic local charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable and marginalised communities in the London Borough of Newham. We work to address issues such as homelessness, food insecurity, social isolation, and insecure immigration status, while also providing vital adult education, advice services, and youth programs. This breadth of impact offers a wealth of inspiration for our fundraising efforts!

The Role

As our Fundraising Manager, you will you will be the driving force behind our fundraising efforts, helping us to grow both our income and our impact. This is a chance to utilise your expertise in grant writing, relationship management, and strategic thinking to drive positive change. 

Your Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Securing significant grants from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources.
  • Leading the development and implementation of a multi-faceted fundraising strategy.
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with funders and stakeholders.
  • Crafting compelling proposals and pitches that showcase our impact.
  • Managing grant budgets and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborating with our committed team to help drive growth and impact.

Your Profile

You will have a proven track record in securing significant and multi-year grants. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be second nature to you, as will strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You will thrive in developing and managing both internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and be a creative and strategic thinker able to operate at senior level. This is a pro-active role where we will expect you to build a strong understanding of our projects and get to know our frontline staff and the communities we support.
