Job description

This is a great opportunity for a creative and engaged community fundraiser to take on a role managing a small team at a well-known hospital charity. 

This role covers the full range of direct community fundraising activities including establishing a network of community volunteers and support groups, mass-participation fundraising campaigns and delivering high calibre supporter care to a range of community based supporters, both organisations and individual

You will use your community fundraising expertise to: 

Manage a small team of community fundraisers

Develop relationships with stakeholders across the hospital from medical staff to enthusiastic volunteers, patients and their families

Develop the charity's volunteering programme, recruiting new volunteers, retaining the existing cohort and running thanking events at key times of the year

You will support your team to: 

Run a range of existing successful events, from challenges to coffee mornings and quizzes  

Work with local companies who support the charity 

Develop stewardship plans to ensure that volunteers, fundraisers, key hospital staff and event participants are thanked, engaged and their support retained

Work with colleagues to market and promote your calendar of events
