Job description

Want to be part of a team but also have some flexibility to work part time or homebased?

Proven track record in major donor fundraising?

Fancy the challenge of building up this income stream - almost from scratch - knowing the charity is investing resources into this income stream? Then please read on...

This role is solely responsible for raising the annual income target from our work with Major Donors.

There are a handful of current supporters but this is an untapped area of income for the charity so provides an exceptional major donor manager the opportunity to really make their mark.

With the support of the Head of Fundraising and full backing of the CEO who completely understands fundraising, you will maintain and manage stakeholder relationships with existing high net worth individual supporters, as well as develop a strategy for identifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts and grants from philanthropists giving to the charity for the first time.

The charity needs a professional with excellent relationship management skill and who brings a sound track record already. This is a great time to join given all the untapped potential but you will also be pleased to know that the charity is able and willing to put the resources in to invest in this income stream.

The successful candidate will bring a demonstrable track record in major donor fundraising and prospect research, be a self-starter, a team player and excellent relationship builder.
If you would enjoy the challenge of building a major donor fundraising programme with an emphasis on long-term donor relationships and face to face contact, then get in touch. Today.

The role is vacant now so charity will be interviewing 'as and when' so please apply soon.
