Grants Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a Grants Fundraising Officer to lead in generating five and six figure grants from Statutory donors and Trusts.

Position: Grants Fundraising Officer

Salary: £34, 602 per annum

Location: Central London

Duration: Full time, 35 hours per week. Permanent

About the role:

Working for a large national charity you will raise income from statutory funders including the Big Lottery, Central and Local Government, and the UK’s leading high and medium Trust funders. You will be responsible for preparing concept notes, proposals, logical frameworks, and donor reports, as well as reviewing project budgets and financial reports and maintaining accurate updates on annual income budgets.

You will develop and implement you own plan to deliver on income targets, supported by the Senior Trust and Grants Fundraising Manager on high value /high profile funding applications and relationships.

About you:

To be successful in the role you will have previous experienced within a statutory and trust fundraising and grant writing role in the UK charity sector, other key skills and experience will include:

  • Meeting and or exceeding income targets
  • Experience in fundraising from donors such as Big Lottery, Central and or local Government and from leading Trusts and Foundations
  • Skilled in researching new funding prospects
  • Experience of managing donor funded grants including review of financial information, preparation of donor reports and donor compliance
