Position: Senior ICT Officer
Salary: £27,945 increasing to £29,616 per annum following 6-month probationary period.
Duration: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week. A flexi time scheme is in operation and time off in lieu is permissible for any work required to be undertaken outside the normal hours.

About the Role:
As Senior IT Support Officer you will provide technical support for our client’s offices, as well as Desktop and Office Suite support and training to 90 end users. You will ensure a comprehensive service that meets business requirements.
You will effectively manage the relationship with any ICT contracts and retain compliance with relevant national standards and frameworks, manage implementation of projects, provide in-house training and assist with the annual review of the ICT policy and its implementation especially with regards to Cyber Essentials assurance.
This is not an exhaustive list. The post holder may be asked to carry out additional duties from time to time or, as required, by the developing needs of the service or organisation.
The Successful IT Support Officer be a self-starter, with the ability to work under pressure with excellent work management skills. You will bring with you the following skills and experience:
You will be able to communicate clearly, confidently with staff and external organisations both orally and in writing in a non-technical way and have the ability to travel to remote locations when necessary.
Although not essential, a working knowledge of the Welsh language would be highly desirable, as would knowledge of GDPR.
