About the role
Good governance and compliance is fundamental to our success as a membership organisation and charity. The Head of Governance is a new role responsible for ensuring the NHS Confederation follows effective, transparent and accountable governance and compliance procedures which comply with the good practice and fulfil charity and statutory requirements.
Essentially, we are looking for a highly knowledgeable individual who has experience of advising organisations on governance matters, both internally and externally, and has a strong understanding of best practices in organising governance within business, ideally within the charity sector. To be successful you will be skilled at forming positive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
