Job description

The Hospitality and Operations Home Manager is a new and key pivotal role within our homes. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of hospitality from our front door, services for our residents and our food service.

What will your typical day involve?

You will be the first point of contact, working on the ground directing day-to-day hospitality and operations teams' activities, ensuring our residents experience a high level of service.

You will be responsible for resolving day to day issues from our residents promptly and professionally while ensuring the presentation of rooms, meals, and service are of the highest standard.

You will also be supporting the Director of Hospitality and Operations and other members of the Senior Leadership Team in the strategic planning of the functions in the homes.

Who are we looking for?

You will have a track record of growing responsibility within a hotel/residence/care home environment in either an operational or a managerial capacity.

You will also have a strong customer service background, be well presented, have an eye for detail and have excellent organisational skills.

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking, able to work on your own initiative unsupervised and, where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.

You will have a cheerful, compassionate, respectful, and caring approach and good communication and interpersonal skills. With an understanding of the needs of older people and the desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others
