Job description

Corporate Development Team Manager, an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing National Animal Welfare Charity, based in Central London.

With a history of success and heavy investment across fundraising, the Corporate Fundraising team is now expanding, creating a very exciting time to join this extremely successful charity.

As the Corporate Development Team Manager, working with the Deputy Head of Development, you will be responsible for delivering the new business strategy, securing new partnerships with local and national businesses, managing a team of two.

You will lead the Corporate Development Team to increase income from businesses, securing partnerships with businesses that wish to engage their staff and customers, through fundraising, volunteering, and mission-led activities. Build new regional and multi-site partnerships and deliver income streams including, charity of the year, sponsorship, payroll giving and a corporate friends scheme.

  • Support the Deputy Head of Development in developing, delivering and monitoring the new business aspects of the Corporate Partnerships strategy and creatively developing new corporate fundraising products.
  • Lead the team to identify and cultivate new corporate partnerships
  • Develop and deliver a personal prospect pipeline to deliver a personal new business target
  • Create relevant, professional, inspiring and successful applications, proposals and presentations for pitches for potential corporate partners.
  • Build networks with key decision makers and influencers at target companies to strengthen relationships and build long term partnerships.
  • Manage the performance and professional development of direct reports

Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate Development Team Manager with a proven track record of delivering exceptional new business development in a charity setting, including demonstrating ability to uplift the value of existing partnerships. Experience of line managing or supervising staff to deliver excellent work and supporting their professional development.
