Job description

We’re looking for someone creative, confident and enthusiastic who loves music and wants to play a key role in delivering innovative and engaging social media and digital content for the largest music therapy charity in the UK.

As part of our successful communications team, the Digital and Social Media Officer will play a pivotal role in creating content that resonates with our audiences and helps us achieve our ambitious objectives to grow our supporter base. We’re looking for a creative self-starter who can produce compelling content – including social media posts, website articles, graphics and short films. A flair for design would be very useful in this role.

As a charity with a historic connection to the UK music industry and that uses the power of music therapy to enrich the lives of people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability, music is at the heart of what we do. You’ll be championing music and music therapy across our digital channels as well as promoting our high-profile fundraisers, and you’ll be working closely with colleagues across the organisation to source content and tell stories that champion the incredible work we’re doing to enrich lives through music.

The position is subject to a basic DBS check.
