This is a high-impact and strategically significant position, ensuring the development and enhancement of safeguarding frameworks.
 
The post-holder will act as the organisation’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, with the Director of Services continuing to hold the Designated Safeguarding Lead role. The post-holder will also work closely with Heads of Service, service managers, senior leadership, , and teams across the organisation to foster a culture in which safeguarding is deeply embedded and consistently prioritised.
 
This role holds the responsibility for delivering high quality operations as well as quality assuring and providing guidance on  complex cases.
 
Due to the nature of the role, regular evening and weekend work may be required. Hybrid working is available, but it is anticipated that this role will be required to regularly work and attend meetings in the Galop building in central London.

We are seeking a Roaming International Finance Manager to provide short- to medium-term finance cover and additional capacity across a global programme portfolio. This is a hands-on international finance role, supporting Programme Managers and country teams to manage financial risk, strengthen financial controls, and ensure effective delivery of standard financial operating procedures.

The role may also include the induction, training and capacity-building of new International Finance Managers and local finance teams.

The successful candidate will work across a range of country programmes, often in challenging or developing-country contexts, providing support on budgeting, donor reporting, financial planning, monthly close processes, cash management, statutory compliance, audit preparation and partner contract oversight. They will play a key role in ensuring financial systems, reporting and controls are robust, compliant and aligned with operational needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting country financial planning, forecasting and grant/contract budgeting.
• Monitoring grant and contract spend, including cost-to-completion and spend-out plans.
• Identifying and managing programme financial risks.
• Ensuring financial policies and standard operating procedures are implemented across programme locations.
• Overseeing monthly financial close and ledger accuracy.
• Preparing donor, client and country financial statements.
• Managing cash flow, banking arrangements and exchange-rate exposure.
• Supporting statutory, donor and external audits.
• Building the capacity of national finance teams and supporting staff development.

About you

You will be a qualified accountant, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience, with at least five years’ financial management experience, including two years overseas. You will bring strong financial planning, reporting, donor compliance and risk-management skills, together with the flexibility and resilience required to work in varied international contexts. Experience managing and developing small teams is essential.

This role would suit a practical, adaptable and culturally sensitive finance professional who is comfortable working both strategically and operationally, including in environments where living and working conditions may be basic.

The role will also manage our online shop growing the revenue from this channel. 

The Website and Marketing Manager will lead on the technical and content SEO/GEO strategy, working with cross organisational teams and Mary’s Meals International to achieve significant growth in traffic to our website. 

Ensuring that our values led approach remains central is essential as is harnessing technology and good fundraising practice. 

Working in the Acquisition Marketing team, this is a collaborative role working side-by-side with colleagues from across the Supporter Experience and Communications directorate, ensuring a joined-up approach to all communications activities, through the integration of strong storytelling and marketing expertise, robust supporter journeys will be created, ensuring they are effective at bringing in new donors.

The role will also work closely with our Data Intelligence and CRM team, as a key stakeholder in the technical development of the website, to help deliver data driven decision making which will help grow the Mary’s Meals movement.

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to support the merger, and - as a key member of the Management Team - ensure QiL’s success.  As Senior Finance Manager, you will ensure regulatory compliance, support strategic decision-making, provide professional oversight of income, expenditure, and investments, advise trustees and support the long-term sustainability of QiL and the effective functioning of Local Meetings (LMs).

Forest Farm Peace Garden is a small East London charity offering ecotherapy and community gardening to support people’s mental health and wellbeing.

We are looking for a strategic, hands‑on Director (21 hours per week) to lead our next chapter, working closely with a committed staff team, trustees and volunteers.

As Director you will hold overall responsibility for the charity’s vision, strategy and day‑to‑day operations, ensuring our programmes run safely, sustainably and in line with our values. You will line‑manage our Ecotherapy Worker, Gardener, and three sessional staff, nurture a positive, inclusive culture, and make sure staff and volunteers are supported to do their best work. You will play a key role in shaping our individual giving programme and the growth of digital fundraising activity, testing new ideas, improving performance and ensuring our supporters feel inspired and connected to our work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver supporter acquisition and retention strategies, plans and budgets.
• Lead multi-channel fundraising campaigns across direct mail, digital, DRTV, telemarketing and face-to-face.
• Drive income growth and maximise value of supporters.
• Develop engaging fundraising propositions and creative campaign content.
• Lead ongoing testing, learning and innovation across products, audiences and channels.
• Manage income and expenditure budgets, with responsibility for forecasting and reporting.
• Build and manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
• Collaborate across fundraising, marketing and the wider organisation to identify new opportunities.
• Ensure all activity is compliant with fundraising regulations and data protection legislation.

About You

We’re looking for a confident and data-driven fundraiser with strong experience in multi-channel individual giving and direct marketing. You’ll be both strategic and hands-on, comfortable managing campaigns end-to-end while continuously improving performance through insight and innovation.

You will bring:

• Proven experience delivering successful individual giving or direct marketing campaigns.
• Strong multi-channel experience (e.g. direct mail, digital, DRTV, telemarketing, face-to-face).
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting and reporting on performance.
• Strong analytical skills, including segmentation, targeting and campaign optimisation.
• Experience managing agencies and external partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring team members.
• Experience with prize-led fundraising would be beneficial but is not essential.

This role will lead woodland creation, management and monitoring projects across Cumbria, working with a range of funding programmes, partners and contractors. You’ll manage staff, schedules and resources, helping keep projects running smoothly from planning through to delivery.

The role will also drive the development of new forestry services and opportunities as Raise continues to grow.

We’re looking for someone proactive with strong operational or project management experience who can coordinate people, manage complexity and support specialist teams.

You might come from a range of nature-based backgrounds, including forestry, farming, conservation, land management or another outdoor or environmental sector, but you do not necessarily need to be a trained forester.

Raise: Cumbria Community Forest is a neurodivergent-led organisation working across 1,300 square miles of Cumbria. We work with landowners, communities and partners to create and care for woodlands that support biodiversity, climate action and people’s connection to nature. Our work combines practical forestry delivery with community engagement, skills development and long-term stewardship.

Working with us

This is a role that involves working across Cumbria, including regular site visits to woodland and rural locations.

You will need to be comfortable working outdoors and travelling between sites as part of your role.

A full UK driving licence is required.

You will be working with landowners, contractors and partners, often in complex delivery environments where priorities need to be managed day to day.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need forestry qualifications, but you do need relevant experience in operational or project management.

We are looking for someone who can:

· coordinate people, staff and external contractors

· work with landowners, partners or stakeholders

· manage multiple priorities and resolve operational challenges

· support specialist technical teams in delivery

· communicate clearly and build strong working relationships

Experience in forestry, farming, conservation, land management or similar outdoor sectors would be an advantage, but we are open to different backgrounds.
