Railway Children works here in the UK and internationally to support vulnerable children alone and at risk on the streets and at transport hubs. They're best known for their work in India, where thousands of children arrive frightened and alone at rail and bus terminals every day. Some are passing through having fallen prey to groomers, traffickers or drug gangs. Others are lost miles from home.
In this role, you'll be working for an organisation that responds to this need by:
* Training 11,614 British Transport Police and railway staff to identify and support vulnerable children.
* Reaching and protecting 3,727 children in India across 8 railway stations and 1 bus terminal.
* Supporting 1,789 children in Tanzania to move away from the streets to a brighter future.
About the role
You'll work as part of an established and growing fundraising team to secure and steward four, five and six-figure grants from trusts, foundations and institutions in the UK and overseas.
This will include a portfolio of new and existing donors with varied day-to-day tasks. You'll submit funding proposals and manage existing grants, as well as prepare high-quality feedback reports and deliver outstanding stewardship.

About you
You'll already have a proven track-record securing funding from trusts, foundations and/or institutions and statutory funders. However, you don't necessarily need to come with previous international experience (though, of course, you'd be very welcome to apply if you do).

- Develop and deliver annual plans and budgets for recruiting new donors through diverse channels.

Arts Emergency – Head of Fundraising
Location: Home or office based - London N4 or Manchester M1.

Arts Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network aiming to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors, is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to provide leadership and management for fundraising activities.
Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26. The network is made up of thousands of cultural professionals who’ve all offered to share crucial gateways into hard to crack industries like TV, publishing and architecture with young people.
This position will be responsible for raising the necessary income to ensure Arts Emergency’s high-quality, person focused, asset-based services for young people are sustainably funded and can
scale. This is a new role that reports to the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, overseeing a diverse income portfolio including individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate donations, commercial income and community fundraising. The Head of Fundraising will have a particular focus on managing and growing the charity’s income from individuals and organisations, with an aim to increase overall fundraising to £1.25m in 2026.
Arts Emergency are seeking candidates that are passionate about building and developing strong teams and who can implement ambitious plans for funding work by making best use of their large community of young people, volunteers and organisations across the Arts, Humanities and in the Cultural and Creative industries. About the role
Oak Tree Animals’ Charity is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead the Charity’s corporate operations.
This new role will lead our Operations Directorate, maintaining and managing our physical environment and valued resources.
The Head of Operations will line manage our finance, facilities (including H&S), reception, HR and volunteer teams to ensure the promotion of a positive and supportive environment and experience for our animals, staff, volunteers and visitors.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organisation, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and the successful execution of programmes and initiatives.
This position requires a passion for making a positive impact, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a dedicated team.
We have a 4-bedroom house on-site, which could be available to the incoming Head of Operations with rent offset by a proportion of salary for those re-locating to the area. This is a pet-friendly property, with a private garden and allocated parking for two vehicles.

We are seeking candidates with broad business management / general management experience gained from either business or third sector organisations.
Ideally, you will have substantial financial acumen and/or experience in facilities management.
