Reports to Head of Clinical Services
A fabulous opportunity to provide psychological assessment for pupils attending Together Trust education settings and external schools, this post offers the unique opportunity to join a newly established Psychology Service by working systematically in multi-disciplinary teams, promoting the emotional well-being, learning and skill development of children and young people.
Working collaboratively with teams in school environments you will provide highly specialist psychological consultation and direct assessment, followed by formulation and intervention where appropriate.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Undertake highly specialist psychological assessments and needs analysis with internal and external services supported by the Trust.
- Use applied psychology in working closely with staff from a variety of disciplines, parents/ carers and students to develop supports and interventions that mitigate the barriers to learning experienced by students with Special Educational Needs and Disability.
- Work with the Trust Wide Clinical Psychologist, to contribute to the evaluation, monitoring and development of the service, contributing to research, auditing, and service evaluation.
- Support the development of the Trust’s Assistant Psychologists, and the development and facilitation of training placements for Education Psychologists in training.
- Provide, where necessary, highly specialist psychological reports, for key stakeholders and other practitioners within the wider professional network.
About you:
- Registered with the HCPC you will hold a doctorate in Educational Psychology.
- Be able to demonstrate significant post qualification experience supporting children and young people in education settings.
- Have significant experience of undertaking cognitive and psychological assessments, developing formulations and providing recommendations and support plans.
- Be able to deliver training to raise understanding and ability to support children and young people and raise quality of life.
- Be able to demonstrate significant experience in supporting/providing clinical supervision and ability for reflective practice.
- Have knowledge of current educational systems and of those associated with children and young people with special educational needs.
- Evidence significant experience of working with children or young people with complex needs including learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions and/or with mental health needs.

Job Purpose:

Innovation & Development

Work with the database manager to develop the use of the CRM system with the grants team to maximise efficiency.

Listen to Families is an innovative new service to improve prison healthcare by involving families and carers more proactively in the process. A pilot project - the first of its kind - has been running in London for around 18 months. It seeks to create mechanisms and opportunities for families to be heard and influence how healthcare services are delivered and developed.
The service listens to the views and experiences of families, feeds that back to the NHS and providers, makes recommendations about where improvements could be made, and works with them to co-produce solutions with people who have lived experience.
This role holder will set up a similar pilot project in four prisons in the South East – HMPs Elmley, Downview, Huntercombe and Aylesbury. This is an opportunity for someone to join and shape the delivery of the project from the day one.
We're looking for:
• A good understanding of service user engagement practices and methodologies.
• Understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and the complex/vulnerable nature of our service users.
• Knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of prisoners and their families, including those from marginalised communities.
• Experience of service user involvement with diverse groups, ideally including people who have been affected by the criminal justice system.

ADD is looking for a Head of Transformative Partnerships and Influencing to lead on nurturing and expanding relationships with institutional funders and partners so that more resources and opportunities can flow to disability justice movements in Africa and Asia.
This is a new role that will lead both our institutional fundraising and influencing work. This role will be responsible for raising significant funds from a range of institutional funders. Main Responsibilities
1.Strategic development and leadership:

Main responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and implementing a robust income generation strategy to support and enable the achievement of the SMF's strategic ambitions, setting targets, monitoring and reporting on income performance and supporting accurate forecasts and projections
- Work collaboratively with SMT colleagues and across the charity to identify funding and partnership needs and opportunities, shape compelling cases for support and align our income generation strategy and offer to funders with our mission, targets and priorities
- Responsible for overseeing and stewarding SMF’s portfolio of corporate partnerships, setting and reporting on income targets, maximising existing partnerships and taking lead responsibility for stewardship of flagship relationships
- Responsible for developing a robust new business pipeline, setting targets, developing our offer and securing new partnerships (corporates, trusts and foundations and events).
- Responsible for developing the potential of other income streams including individual giving and philanthropy
- Lead a culture of excellent relationship management across the SMF and ensure the right resources, systems and skills are in place across the charity and for all staff that interact or hold relationships with partners
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Advocacy and Campaigns to grow earned income through the Social Mobility Employer Index and develop related products and services for employers
- Oversee the development of and delivery of our volunteering offer including our award-winning student mentoring service, ensuringwe build mutually beneficial volunteering partnerships
- Represent the SMF externally with funders, partners and other stakeholders, seeking opportunities to increase the organisation’s network and build our influence and reputation as an effective charity partner
- Manage, motivate and develop the team, setting team and individual goals and evaluating performance, coaching and motivating staff and supporting professional development and staff wellbeing
- Lead across the organisation, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture and modelling leadership behaviours
- Work with the CEO and fellow members of the SMT to shape the SMF’s strategic priorities, set the annual business plan and key projects, and monitor delivery and performance

The successful candidate will be our strategic lead within our award-winning Barnet Together partnership, working as an equal partner with Young Barnet Foundation and Groundwork London. You’ll be overseeing our community organisation support, ensuring that the team meet their KPIs and that we also deliver on our work to challenge inequalities for marginalized groups. You’ll represent the voluntary sector at the most senior level in Borough meetings, and support the development of the VCSE Alliance for North Central London.
You’ll also oversee our libraries, strategizing and identifying opportunities to enhance the service, and act as contact point in our role as Locally Trusted Organisation for the Grange Big Local.
To succeed, you will need extensive experience of the voluntary sector, partnership management, and the gravitas to represent the sector to senior local leaders. You’ll be a natural problem solver and an advocate for equality, as well as a collaborative, coaching manager; a great relationship builder with tact and emotional intelligence, and a champion for the contribution of the sector to the borough, and society more widely. This is a UK based role, and whilst most of it can be done from home, candidates need to have, or be willing to relocate to, a base within about two hours travel time from Barnet. We anticipate a need to be in Barnet on a weekly basis on average, for which travel will be paid. We encourage flexible working to suit your work/life balance preferences where possible. We also operate a Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) system.
