Job description

Manchester Mind believes in the power of listening and of being heard, because better understanding of mental health benefits everyone.

We do this by providing a range of services across Manchester to young people and adults. An important part of our work is ensuring we generate enough income to continue offering support and to develop new projects where needed, as guided by our values of Openness, Belonging, Strength and Collaboration.

The Senior Fundraising Officer will become an important part of our fundraising team working with our Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Officer in continually developing our capacity and sustainability. This new role is a vital development within Manchester Mind at an exciting time of growth. We would like to work with someone who is experienced in different forms of fundraising such as legacy work, major donors, charity business partnerships etc. and is dynamic and passionate about being able to contribute to our long-term strategy.

Position: Senior Fundraising Officer

Salary: £25,463 p.a.

Hours: 35 hours per week

The skills and knowledge that are important to us are:

  • Experience of developing areas of fundraising activity
  • Being able to work in an open, supportive and collaborative way.
  • Ability to develop kind relationships.
