Job description

North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service is a specialist domestic abuse outreach charity, part of the Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership. We are currently managed by Citizens Advice Elmbridge West (charity registration 1094025) and are working to become an independent charity in early 2024.

To facilitate this, we are seeking a female CEO who is ready to lead the team in continuing to provide an essential and quality service, whilst also developing and representing the new charity and leading it forward in a new strategic phase.

We are expert providers of a free, confidential and independent service that provides practical and ongoing emotional help to thousands of domestic abuse survivors in the communities we serve. We are passionate about what we do and we are looking for a CEO who is equally motivated to support survivors of domestic abuse.

An ideal candidate will be great at building relationships with our partner organisations, an excellent fund-raiser and business minded. They will want to create a culture of trust, inclusivity and performance in the organisation whilst also bringing to life the feminist values we are adopting.

This is a unique role that will require a special set of skills but most importantly a desire to improve the lives of those who are moving on from domestic abuse.

About us: North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service supported 2023 referrals during the past 12 months and provided complex casework support to 691 clients and their children.

The difference you will make: As CEO you'll drive sustainable income generation, build strategic partnerships and manage the ongoing high performance of the organisation.

You will excel through:

· Strategic leadership: Driving innovative solutions and delivering measurable results.

· Income generation: Developing sustainable funding through ongoing partnership and creative strategies.

· Partnerships: Cultivating powerful connections across Surrey.

· Passion and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in communities.
