Job description

 

The Partnerships and Philanthropy team is responsible for identifying, securing, and developing partnerships from businesses, individuals, commissioned and contracted projects, trusts, and foundations to deliver income and secure long-term sustainable strategic partnerships.

 

This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and stewarding corporate and business prospects to generate high-level income to support services delivered across North Yorkshire Hospice Care by its family of brands.  The Partnerships Manager will support the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships in delivering the strategic objectives set in the corporate partnerships business plan and the wider Community Relationship and organisational plans.

 

The Partnerships Manager will be expected to identify, secure, and develop the support of key prospects, generating new business through researching and prospecting new supporters at a high level, developing tailored approaches to maximise the success of each contact, and maintain, develop and maximise support from the existing portfolio of relationships we hold with key stakeholders and businesses across North Yorkshire Hospice Care.

 

The role will also provide effective line management, support, and development to a partnerships officer and corporate fundraising volunteers. Motivating, inspiring, and working with them to drive plans ensuring the achievement of objectives and progress assessed against budgets, business plans, and relevant KPIs.

 

This role will work across North Yorkshire Hospice Care Sites and from home.
