The NCA has developed an ambitious strategy to develop and grow our Charitable income over the next five years. This has involved the establishment of a new charity brand, NorthCare Charity and development of a new fundraising team. The team consists of fundraising, communications and marketing and administrative staff.
The charity’s purpose is to raise funds to enhance and improve the experience of patients and service users across our group. This includes general unrestricted fundraising as well as targeted campaigns focusing on our specialist services and locations.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting time as we look to totally transform our charity’s visibility. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the Fundraising Officer will play a crucial role in developing and promoting a diverse range of fundraising activities. These will include areas such as sponsored cycling and running events, special appeals, one-off and regular giving to deliver our fundraising strategy.
We welcome applications from people who cover all disciplines for fundraising but are particularly interested in candidates with experience in major giving and securing corporate support as we look to expand our fundraising in these areas.
