An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a service manager to join our team managing two supported-living homes in North West London, for people with learning disabilities and autism. Norwood founded in 1795 is a leading children's, family and learning disability charity.
Role overview
You will manage the day to day running of 2 supported living services in North West London that supports adults with learning disabilities and autism, in line with Norwood’s Vision, Mission and Values. You will oversee all activities within the services, ensure that each person’s package of support is sufficient to meet their needs and that the care and support provided is person-centred. You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision and appraisal of the staff team.
About you
You will need to be NVQ/QCF Level 5 qualified, hold proven experience of working in the delivery of Care and Support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and PMLD. You need be aware and up to date with the current legislations, including the Health and Social Care Act (2008) and have experience in reviewing and monitoring service delivery, building strong leaderships, team working, people management, delegation and budget setting and management skills.
