Nottingham city centre, Nottingham
£24,000 - £28,000 per year
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

Help us to conduct an in depth ‘energy audit’, going above and beyond existing data sets by involving Meadows residents themselves. Whilst we will use existing open-source data (e.g. EPC data) to provide a foundation for the study, we will build on this with our own information and modelling.

Detailed surveys of Meadows residents’ homes will be conducted to provide the following information:

  • Physical building construction information
  • Building condition information (inc. planned maintenance)
  • Occupancy information (household income etc)
  • Household energy use (appliances, behaviour etc)

To allow participants to benefit from their involvement with the energy audit, residents will receive a stepped whole house retrofit plan, tailored to their home, and compliant with PAS2035 regulations. This will not only provide detailed advice but will pave the way to access government grants and funding towards retrofit measures. Training provided.
