We are seeking two highly motivated and organised individuals to work in the University’s Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team to support the operational delivery of the alumni engagement plan and flagship volunteer programme – the Alumni Fellowship.
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has celebrated three consecutive University of the Year wins. We have climbed 18 places to become the 16th UK university in The Guardian University Guide 2019. We also won a prestigious gold rating for our teaching excellence, sector-leading student analytics and social mobility work, continued to be one of the greenest universities globally, and our researchers received a number of prestigious accolades for their impactful and innovative work. Here at NTU, we are reimagining what a university can be.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, dynamic and ambitious team, as we prepare to launch a new alumni and community engagement plan and make progress with our major philanthropy campaign.
The role holders will work to build mutually beneficial and strong relationships with alumni and volunteers, and positive working relations with colleagues in assigned academic school(s) to ensure volunteer activities best support students and the wider NTU community.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines and excellent project management, communication and relationship building skills.
If you want to work in a fast-paced environment with a varied and interesting workload then we would love to hear from you.
One post will be based at our Clifton Campus, and one at City Campus, but both post-holders will be required to travel between all sites regularly.
We would welcome secondments from internal NTU teams.
When completing your application, please include a personal statement that addresses how you meet each essential (and where relevant desirable) point on the person specification. Applications without a personal statement will not be considered.
