Job description

We have vacancy for a People and Nature Officer to help develop, champion and manage our volunteer offer and support a range of community engagement events and activity across Nottinghamshire.  This important and exciting role will ensure we are successful in maintaining positive relationships with all of our volunteers and their volunteer leaders across the breadth of our activity and enable new and diverse audiences to connect to our wildlife work.

The People and Nature Officer will be fundamental in ensuring volunteers are enabled, supported, motivated and valued.  Working closely with staff, volunteer groups and individuals you will be a passionate ambassador of our volunteer programme ensuring our offer provides high quality experiences and outcomes, is accessible and effective.

If you would like to be part of the Wildlife Trust movement and have experience of volunteer management and community engagement, working with diverse audiences and you can adapt to the changing demands of a small charity then we would like to hear from you.
