Job description

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Income Generation team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.

We’re looking for a self-motivated Campaign Manager to take on the huge opportunity to project manage Childhood Day, the NSPCC’s annual flag day. Our ambition for Childhood Day is for it to be widely recognised as the NSPCC’s flagship fundraising moment of the summer – recruiting a new generation of local community supporters, engaging people at home, at work and at school and bringing communities together to prevent child abuse.

Childhood Day inaugural national launch took place June 2021, following periods of regional concept testing over three years. Identified as a strategic Income Generation priority, there is huge organisational support to realise the ambition and grow Childhood Day with substantial investment. The Campaign Manager will play a key role in establishing this moment in the UK market and raise £millions for children.

The Campaign Manager will deliver the Childhood Day campaign, by effective working with teams across the organisation and selected suppliers, whilst refining the project management office to establish Childhood Day as an income generation moment in our annual calendar for years to come.

Using your integrated campaign experience, you will plan and implement the campaign strategy with experts across the organisation to achieve income targets, increase supporter recruitment and increase brand engagement. You will use your outstanding communication skills to champion Childhood Day through the organisation, build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally and motivate stakeholders to maximise opportunities. You will have a proven track record in project and budget management and the ability to identify trends, opportunities and risks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of one of the leading mass fundraising teams in the UK and join the highly talented management team. Through your work you will inspire thousands of supporters to raise £millions for abused and vulnerable children. If you are up for the challenge, we would love to hear from you.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff, volunteers, agency workers and consultants to share this commitment.
