Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. It drives us. And it motivates us to maintain our position as an influential, informed and forceful voice at every level.
We are seeking a specialist writer to produce evidence-based content about safeguarding and child protection for the NSPCC Learning website. This role is suitable for hybrid-working, with at least one day per week in the office (either London or Leicester) and working from home for the remainder of the week.
The post holder will work in our busy Knowledge and Information team, which seeks out and disseminates child protection information to anyone who works or volunteers with children.
You should have demonstrable experience of carrying out desk research, synthesising complex information from a range of sources and translating this into web content that is clear, concise and easy to understand. You will have attention to detail, follow brand guidelines, proofread and review your own work.
You need to have excellent interpersonal skills, be a continuous learner and demonstrate a commitment to keeping children safe.
Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff, volunteers, agency workers and consultants to share this commitment.
