Job description

Nugent is heading into a period of growth having outlined its ambitious five-year plan. We are building a resilient and skilled team to deliver that plan across the Business Support department.

You could take a place in that team as a Care Practice Assessor and Auditor in the Governance Department.

We are currently recruiting for: Care Practice Assessor & Auditor

Hours of work: 37 hours a week

Location: remote working with visits to sites across Merseyside

Nugent, and its regulators, set out clear expectations for the delivery of outstanding Care, education and support services. This is an opportunity to join the expanding Governance team and provide the charity, and its management, with independent assurance that operational and business support functions work effectively and continually progress towards the provision of outstanding services.

As a Care Practice Assessor and Auditor you will:

Demonstrate integrity and courage working to develop and deliver the organisation’s Governance Schedule

Inspire optimism and ambition across Nugent’s services and our large staff and volunteer team

Demonstrate an understanding of regulatory and policy expectations, and support the management and staff team to understand and implement required improvements

Be highly organised, able to work independently, and communicate effectively with managers and teams across the organisation

Exhibit attention to detail, be able to identify anomalies and areas of concern, and assess the impact of training and learning

The role will be pivotal to ensuring the charity’s progression towards becoming an outstanding provider of Care, Education and Family support services to the vulnerable groups Nugent supports.
