Considering working for us? Be warned, you may find it hard to ever leave. We are passionate about our staff and believe in caring for them in the same ways we care about our service users. We are a growing charity and don’t have the resource to provide fancy staff perks however the things money can’t buy we are really good at. We believe staff are the foundation stone to the success of the charity and so we do everything we can to make sure they feel valued, supported, engaged and developed. People who’ve worked for us in the past have said we’ve spoilt them, as they just can’t find what we offer from other employers. If you are looking for a role with a clearly identified career path, the ability to build something yourself, in an organisation that genuinely cares about your health and welfare, then this is for you.

Oasis Community Housing is focused on the eradication of homelessness. We do this by identifying the causes of homelessness and working with individuals to tackle these. Over the past 30 years our work as diversified and we currently deliver 4 main services to combat homelessness; Supported Accommodation, Crisis services, Domestic Abuse and Violence Support work and an Employability programme. We have a Gateshead and London base and plan to grow over the next few years.

This role is all about developing new relationships with corporate and community partners and stewarding their partnership journey. From Charity of the Year applications to organising our Great North run activity the role is a varied one and will keep you on your toes. You will be working in a team who are responsible for the delivery of our ambitious fundraising and business development strategy.

How would we describe you? Well you need to be someone who keeps in touch with funding opportunities via networks and connections.  You will also be great at seeing how corporate priorities link to our own and maximising the opportunities for forming partnerships. You will be great a writing about what we do for a corporate audience that communicates our work with impact.  You will be great at building relationships, identifying and seizing opportunities and able to communicate our amazing cause in a way that will secure the support from those who often get lots of request for support.

Interviews to be held 27th June.
