Job description

Oasis Hub North Bristol works to build social capital across the area we work, providing integrated, high quality services that benefit the whole person and the whole community. Our growing success means we are looking to appoint a Change Maker Project Lead to work with the North Bristol hub team and community. 

Working alongside the Hub Leader the Change Maker Project Lead will help create a strategy and lead the delivery of the implementation of a community-led programme of change.  You will be working alongside students and community members to list priorities, garner support, publicise via social media, record and monitor outcomes.  You will have a small budget for resources and will need to enlist and train volunteers and Change Maker champions.  The success of this role is dependent on creating meaningful relationships with the local community. 

To be successful in this role, applicants will require:

  • Proven experience in leading community change projects with children and young people aged 4-16 years
  • Excellent maths/budget, communication and presentation skills.
  • A flexible approach to changing priorities and demonstrate initiative.
  • The ability to work with people from a broad cross-section of backgrounds.
  • The ability to work Tue (08.30-16:00), Wed (11:00-16:00) and Thu (08.30-16:00)

Part-Time:  20 hours per week, (0.5 FTE)

Salary:  £10,392 per annum (£20,783 as 1.0 FTE)
