Oasis Hub Waterloo, is seeking a skilled, adaptable, committed and passionate Youth Intern who will be instrumental in co-developing and co-delivering services for young people.
This role will work with and support young people (aged 11 and over) who live, work and play or attend school in the Lambeth North and Waterloo areas of south London.
The Oasis Waterloo Hub based in Central London, is offering a paid internship for a Youth Intern to work along the committed professionals in our hub team, and experience grass-roots community work at its most fulfilling.
The projects you will get involved in include our various youth projects such as Hub Athletic, Hub Youth, one to one and group work in two schools, Oasis Youth Support and Elevate. You’ll also spend time within our Hub Coffee House, Foodbank, Debt Advice Centre, City Farm, ESOL groups and even our community choir!
Whilst no formal qualifications are required, this is a demanding role and the right person will thrive in it. We think it will suit someone who has the following qualities:

Oasis Community Hub Waterloo is a ground breaking charity providing a broad and inclusive range of community development services for vulnerable and isolated people living in Lambeth & Southwark. Our services incorporate two Academy schools (one primary and one secondary), a children's centre, a city farm, sports programmes, targeted youth programmes, a foodbank, debt advice centre, a library, a café, a community centre, adult learning programmes and a great deal more. We deliver these services over a range of locations in Southwark and Lambeth reaching more than 1,200 beneficiaries every week.
