Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to lead our efforts to secure income from grants to enable OTR to promote, support and defend young people’s mental health in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire

This new role will be vital to achieving our exciting plans to grow our impact and improve our financial sustainability.

The successful candidate will develop and implement a strategy to secure funding from trusts, foundations and other grant giving institutions. You will have a rich and diverse role, featuring partnership building, research, proposal development and report writing. You will also create firm foundations at OTR to ensure success, from crafting compelling narratives to describe our work to establishing robust grant management processes.

You will have an impressive track record of securing income from grants. You will have outstanding writing skills and be able to translate complex information into compelling proposals and reports that stand out from the crowd. You will have excellent relationship building skills, with evidence of establishing productive partnerships with funders. You will also have personal influence and credibility to inspire and influence funders to support our work. Finally, you will have a personal interest and commitment to young people’s mental health and OTR’s work.
