Job description

We are currently recruiting for vacancies in the London and North West regions.

As an HMI, you'll be taking your social care career to the next level. You'll be part of a forward-facing, energetic organisation, improving the lives of children and young people across the country.

It’s your opportunity to broaden and deepen your knowledge as you inspect in a wide range of settings across England. We also undertake joint targeted inspections with CQC, HMIC (Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary) and HMI Probation.

You will already have extensive leadership experience and significant achievement in children’s social care. Becoming an HMI could provide an excellent stepping stone to becoming a senior leader back in the sector later in your career. As an HMI, you'll add another string to your bow by developing inspection skills and gaining knowledge of a large number of services, while bringing your outstanding talent, expertise and recent practice to the inspection workforce.
